Standard Dimensions of Bed Sheets
Just as mattress sizes are standard, the size of bedsheets is also standard. However, there are mattress features that sheets may accommodate, requiring different sized sheets. These features include extra-long and pillow-top mattresses. Does this Spark an idea?

Twin

Standard sheet sizes for twin beds are 39 inches by 75 inches for the fitted bottom sheet and 66 inches by 96 inches for the top flat sheet. There is an extra-long twin mattress that is 5 inches longer than the standard. Extra-long fitted sheets are 39 by 80 inches, and flat sheets are 66 by 102 inches.
Full and Queen

Fitted sheets for a full-size bed are 54 by 75 inches, and the flat sheets are 81 by 96 inches. Queen fitted sheets are 60 by 80 inches, and the flat queen sheets are 90 by 102 inches. Look for deep pockets on a fitted sheet to accommodate pillow tops.

King Size

A standard king-size fitted sheet is 76 by 80 inches. For a California king--a mattress that is 4 inches narrower and 4 inches longer than a standard king--the fitted sheet is 72 by 84 inches. The flat sheets for king and California king are the same size--108 by 102 inches.
