Where Do I Get Finger Printed?

Fingerprints may be required for background checks.

Some employers require that an applicant get fingerprinted for a background check as a condition of employment. A person can get fingerprinted by most law enforcement agencies or by a private company for a small fee.

Broward County Sheriff's Office

The Broward County Sheriff's office provides fingerprinting services at several locations in Florida. A photo identification is required at the time of fingerprinting and a small fee is charged. The agency does not handle fingerprinting documents for the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Seattle Police Department

The Seattle Police Department offers fingerprinting at its headquarters. A person can get fingerprinted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is a charge of $7 for each fingerprint card, as of October 2010.

Cambridge Police Department

The City of Cambridge Police Department provides fingerprinting for city residents. Photo identification and proof of residency is required.

Community Wellness and Safety of Arizona

This private company offers a fingerprinting service in Southern Arizona. The company offers both digitally scanned and standard ink rolled fingerprinting. No appointments are necessary.
