What Does CNTG/KO Mean?
Real estate listings can be confusing, often filled with unnecessary buzzwords and jargon that can make the uninitiated feel very lost. Nonsense abbreviations like CNTG/KO may be the worst offenders.

CNTG/KO
-
This stands for "Contingent With Kick Out." It means that the seller accepted an offer that includes at least one pending contingency. The pending contingency includes a "kick-out" clause, which means that the seller may still accept other better offers and "kick out" this current offer if the first buyer refuses to remove the contingency.
CNTG/NO KO
-
This one means "Contingent With No Kick Out." The seller has accepted an offer that includes a contingency agreement. However, only the buyer can back out at this point because there is no kick-out clause; the seller is legally committed.

CNTG/NKO
-
This is the same as CNTG/NO KO but you will sometimes see it written in this way. They both mean the same thing.
