According to him, some days it as though like everyone has a maintenance issue, and it's important to prioritize what needs the most immediate attention and then organize his day in an optimal way to attend to everything on his plate.

Because of the fast-paced nature of his company, Maintenance Supervisor Eric Scoggins feels that working well under pressure, knowing you will have multiple interruptions throughout the day, is key to doing a good job. Scoggins says that some days his phone never stops ringing and that each call can add to the on-the-job pressure, but that can't prevent him from getting the job done.

A toilet is overflowing on the second floor, a budget report is due at noon, and Marketing needs a file cabinet moved before lunch. Juggling multiple tasks just comes with the territory when a maintenance supervisor is on the job.
