The BMW MKIV navigation system offers everything needed to find, and map a route to, your driving destination. This DVD-based navigation computer includes upgraded graphics and features superior to the earlier MKI, MKII and MKIII systems.

Speed and Features

The MKIV navigation system has the ability to display even long-distance directions within seconds. Destinations can be mapped with only partial information provided. Restaurants can be searched by food categories. There is a single map for all the United States and Canada. The system also has the option of switching to a 3D-perspective mode.

Graphics

Graphics includes split-screen technology, with the ability to separate the map and directions while displaying both at the same time. The map automatically refreshes, as needed, which provides safety as well as convenience.

Compatibility

The BMW MKIV navigation system is compatible with a Sirius receiver; therefore, the system can be programmed to display Sirius radio stations along with song titles.
