Compatibility of Kramer Guitar and Guitar Hero

The Kramer guitar is compatible for many PS2 "Guitar Hero" games.

The Kramer Striker Guitar Hero controller is included with the PlayStation 2 version of "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock." The "Guitar Hero" series allows you to rock out to your favorite tracks while playing along on the five-buttoned guitar controller.

Older Versions

The Kramer guitar is compatible with the original "Guitar Hero" as well as "Guitar Hero 2," but the controller only works on the PlayStation 2 version of the games.

"Guitar Hero: Aerosmith"

The Kramer guitar also works with the special Aerosmith-centric version of "Guitar Hero" for PlayStation 2. If you acquired the Kramer controller with "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock," you only have to buy the game version (without the guitar) of "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith."

"Guitar Hero: World Tour"

The Kramer guitar is also compatible with the PlayStation 2 version of "Guitar Hero: World Tour." The original "World Tour" guitar has a "slider" section for special notes that crop up on the game. You can't play these special notes on the Kramer guitar, but the regular notes can be played on the standard buttons.
