Since 1914 Greyhound has been the most popular and widely recognized bus company in the USA. Greyhound buses make travel simple and relaxing, taking in cities across the entire USA. There are many ways to use a Greyhound bus ticket for your journey.
Although Greyhound does not officially serve as a tour company, it does offer what is known as a "Discovery Pass." This serves as a freedom pass, which you can use to ride the bus between any cities. Travelers have the freedom to plan their route according to their own requirements.
Using a "Discovery Pass" in America, you can travel between as many cities as you want to. If you purchase a ticket to begin your journey in Boston, your journey will take you to many stops en route to the end point.
You can also use your Discovery Pass Canada and you can cross the border from Canada to the USA as well as Mexico with Greyhound. Correct government issue documents are required for border travel and you will also have your luggage checked. If you get off at any terminus you may catch the same bus or the next bus so long as you stay within the parameters of the ticket. The pass does not cover any route east of Montreal.
