Introduced in July 2006, the 2007 Yamaha V Star 1100 Silverado is a custom cruiser decked out with a comfortable touring package and easy handling, making it ideal for cross-country travel or rumbling down Main Street.

Engine, Performance and Exhaust

The 65-cubic-inch (1063 cc), air-cooled V-twin engine provides low and mid-range torque with maximum torque reached at only 2,500 rpm. The five-speed transmission smoothly transitions between gears, while the Dual Mikuni carburetors ensure quick throttle response and reliable power through the rev range. The two-into-two exhaust system with dual chrome shotgun-style staggered pipes emits the classic V-twin rumble sought by cruiser enthusiasts.

Styling and Convenience

Long and low slung with a 32-degree rake and beefy front forks, the Yamaha V Star Silverado cuts a stylish and strong profile, enhanced by chromed engine parts, deeply valanced steel fenders, seven-spoke, cast-aluminum mag wheels and full-size rider floorboards for maximum riding comfort and stability. With an adjustable police-style windshield, passenger backrest and heavy-grade, studded-leather saddle bags, this bike is stylish and functional. The 17-liter (4.5-gallon) fuel tank provides all-day riding convenience.
