Invitations
-
Make invitations from parchment paper and use calligraphy in royal colors, such as a rich red, blue, green or gold. Use a computer for printed calligraphy fonts or write your own with a calligraphy or fountain pen. Seal the invitations in envelopes with sealing wax and signets or roll the parchment into scrolls.
Decorations
-
Hang tapestries in jewel tones like burgundy, hunter green and royal blue on the wall. Make cardboard shields and paint them with coats of arms and add crests, if you wish. There are many stick-on wall murals available with Renaissance themes, such as castles, that you can apply to a wall. Set up thick candles on heavy wrought-iron bases and candelabra throughout the space.
