Life expectancy and the aging process varies for each person in Virtual Villagers.

Virtual Villagers is a life simulation game designed by Last Day of Work Software. A village may have a maximum of 90 people, and deaths are a part of the game. The time it takes for someone to age depends on a number of factors, and each villager ages differently.

  1. Life Expectancy

    • A villager's life expectancy is dependent on a number of factors, including general health, village conditions and level of advancement in the game. Most villagers will live until their late 60s.

    Life Stages

    • Villagers reach working age at 14 and begin breeding at age 18. Villagers attain an elderly stage at age 50 or older. At this time, the villager's health will decline.

    Illness

    • If a villager suffers from an illness at some point during the game, the person becomes permanently weaker unless healing is immediate. A previously sick villager has a shorter life span.

    Advanced Levels

    • Players who reach advanced levels in Virtual Villagers have villagers who live longer. Life expectancy may be 75 or older. Some villagers in extremely advanced civilizations live to be 100.
