How Do I Get Raw Dried Eggs Off of My House?
An egg on a house can result in an unpleasant odor. Newer stains are easier to remove, but once the egg dries up and bakes in the sun, cleaning becomes a little more challenging. Does this Spark an idea?
-
Pressure Wash
-
Hose down the stain with a power washer or garden hose to remove loose particles and egg remains. This method works best on newer stains that have not had time to dry.
Detergent
-
Mix together a teaspoon of an enzyme-based detergent with a cup of warm water. Apply the mixture to the dried stain with a soft nylon brush. Scrub gently to dissolve and remove the egg stain, then rinse off with a garden hose.
-
Stubborn Stains
-
Clean stubborn stains with a mixture of one tablespoon ammonia and a half cup of water. Using a soft brush, blot on the stain. Allow the mixture to soak in the stain, then rinse it with clean water and dry with a clean cloth. Repeat as necessary until the stain is completely gone.
