Thai Air Flight Information

Thai Airways operates 99 different airplanes with service to Asia, Europe and North America. Four different levels of seat classes are available on Thai Airways flights, ranging from the base Economy Class to the high-end Royal First Class.

  1. Checked and Carry-On Luggage

    • Passengers traveling through to or from the United States are allowed to check in two pieces of luggage weighing no more than 70 pounds and with a total height, weight and depth of no more than 62 inches. A weight concept is applied to all other flights; passengers are limited to 44 to 88 pounds of checked luggage depending on their seat class. Passengers can also carry on one piece of luggage up to 15 pounds with maximum dimensions of 22 inches long, 18 inches wide and 10 inches thick along with a laptop case or other small bag or purse.

    Meals

    • Thai Airways offers a choice of entrees on international flights, usually with selections of either Asian or Western-themed cuisine. Passengers on flights from Bangkok flying Royal First Class can request special menus ahead of time on longer flights. Special meal services are available for people looking for vegetarian meals or meals prepared under religious guidelines.

    Amenities and Entertainment

    • Flights on newer Thai Airways airliners have an "On Demand" entertainment system, allowing passengers to select from popular movies, television programs and music options. Complimentary books and toys are available for children 12 and under.
