Coleman has been manufacturing camping trailers since 1967. The Laredo model of the Destiny trailer series was last produced in 1997; it is designed for campers looking for a combination of quality and economic value, according to Coleman.
When closed, the Laredo tent trailer is 6 feet, 8 inches by 11 feet, 5 inches. Open, it expands to 17 feet long. A fully extended Laredo affords 90 square feet of living area, with a maximum interior height of 79 inches.
The Laredo is equipped with an outside shower and stove, a 23-by-36-inch dinette table, built-in chests and cabinets, a water pump and hot water, with a mixer faucet. Two beds, 48 inches by 72 inches, are also included. According to Coleman, the trailer sleeps a total of six people.
Layout and Style
The dinette table, sink and cabinetry are situated in the center of the trailer and the two beds pop out on either side. The hard shell of the Coleman Laredo is white, while the canvas and screens are light green and turquoise.
As it is not an overly large or heavy trailer, most cars, SUVs, vans and trucks can tow the Laredo, if they are equipped with a trailer hitch. The Laredo tent trailer comes with a spare tire.
