Nordstrom, a department store chain, offers a wide range of maternity clothing on its website. For women who find that the clothes do not fit or are not what was expected, Nordstom's provides several return options.

Types

Nordstrom sells maternity clothes on its website to both American and international buyers. While persons purchasing maternity clothes in American are able to return the clothes in a store, international purchases must be mailed back to Nordstrom with a "Return Merchandise Authorization" form, according to Nordstrom's website return policy.

Requirements

All returns that are taken to a store must be accompanied by a packing slip and the credit card that was used to order the maternity clothes. The Nordstrom website also notes that there is no charge for returning clothes purchased online to a store.

Considerations

Returns of maternity clothes result in a credit on the purchasing credit card account, or a Nordstrom gift card, if the entire purchase was made with Nordstrom Notes or a Nordstrom gift card. According to the Nordstrom website, the original cost of shipping is not refunded regardless of how the maternity clothes are returned.
