Bersa 380 Specs

The Bersa .380 handgun is an affordable pistol useful for concealed carry.

The Bersa Thunder .380 is a semi-automatic pistol that is designed for concealed carry and other personal defense applications. Bersa handguns are manufactured in Argentina with the purpose to produce a low cost yet dependable firearm.

Specifications

The Bersa Thunder 380 weighs 20 oz. and is 6.6 inches long and 4.9 inches high. The basic model Thunder has a 3.5 inch barrel with a fixed front sight, a windage adjustable rear sight and a seven round magazine.

Operation

The Bersa Thunder will fire both as a single action and a double action pistol. To fire as a single action, the exposed hammer is cocked before pulling the trigger, while as a double action, the user simply pulls the trigger. The double action trigger pull is much longer and heavier than in single action.

Variations

Bersa makes a number of variations of the basic Thunder pistol. The Thunder 380 Concealed Carry is slightly smaller and lighter and operates as a double action only pistol. The Thunder 380 Plus uses a special alloy frame that reduces the pistol's weight. The 380 Plus also has a double stack magazine that holds 15 rounds of .380 ammunition.
