One way to buy merchandise at wholesale prices is to purchase it directly from the manufacturer. This way, you are completely circumventing the middle-man between the factory and retailer, and you're also saving the retail mark-up to pay the store employees. Unfortunately, many manufacturers will sell their wares only to those parties that are willing to buy in bulk, or sometimes extreme bulk.
