How Do You Bury the Spheres in Pokemon Pearl?
Colored spheres act as currency in the underground area of "Pokemon Pearl." The larger the sphere, the more valuable. Small spheres buried in the underground tunnels will grow larger.

The Underground

The Underground is a series of tunnels that span the entire Sinnoh region. In the Underground, you unearth different treasures, such as Pokemon fossils, glass shards and colored spheres.

Digging for Treasure

When you face a sparkling tunnel wall, press the "A" button to dig. Tap the stylus on the touch screen to chip away rock until you uncover an item or the wall collapses.
Burying Spheres

While in any tunnel, press "X" to access your list of spheres. Select a small one, then press "A" and the command "Bury" to place that sphere in the ground at your feet. Come back after several days to dig up a larger version.
Buying Items

Scattered throughout the Underground, you will find several hikers with different items to sell. Some items serve as decorations for your secret underground base, a hidden room you challenge other players to find over a wireless connection.
