Rascal Flatts originated in 1999.

Since 1999 the country music band Rascal Flatts has produced hits making a name in cutting-edge country music. Every one of their studio albums has gone multi-platinum with songs like "Prayin' For Daylight," "Fast Cars and Freedom," and "My Wish."

The Band

Lead vocals are coupled with the harmonies of Jay DeMarcus.

The Label

Rascal Flatts started out in Nashville.

Early gigs at the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar, in Nashville's Printers Alley, brought executives from Lyric who caught word of their sound. Lyric Street signed Rascal Flatts later in 1999. They have been with the label since.

Milestones

Rascal Flatts has had 10 number 1 singles and 20 hits in the top 10. They have been named American Country Music and Country Music Association top vocal group every year since 2003, according to their website. From their charity work with the American Red Cross, to their Grammy nominated hits like "Bless The Broken Road," Rascal Flatts continues to rise with a profound impact on country music history.
