DLP TV

DLP TVs are a versatile type of television that can be used in many areas. DLP stands for digital light processing, and this type of television has some advantages over other televisions. This technology was developed by Texas Instruments and is still produced by the company.

  1. Picture

    • One of the big advantages of the DLP TV is that it is easy on the eyes. It does not flicker and it also has a brighter display than other types of televisions. It works very well in bright areas. This type of TV reflects light away from the screen which means that the dark colors will look richer.

    Fast Action

    • DLP TVs are also ideal for fast action shows like sports. With the quick response time of the pixels, you will not see any lag in the picture as is the case with some other types of televisions.

    Light Source

    • One of the potential drawbacks of a DLP TV is that the light source has a limited life span. Once it burns out, you will have to purchase another one or the TV will be rendered useless.

    Viewing Angle

    • While DLPs are good for watching from a wide angle, they do not perform well when you are not watching them at eye level. If you put the TV up high on the wall or down below you as in a stadium seating arrangement, you will not be able to see it clearly.
