Control of Dogs

Any time a dog is off its owner's property, it must be restrained on a leash no longer than 10 feet. Alternatively, an unleashed dog must be immediately responsive to its owner's voice commands. Otherwise, the dog is considered to be running at large and is subject to impoundment.

A dog that makes dangerous physical contact with people or pets is considered a vicious dog, as is a dog that causes bodily harm in two or more separate incidents. Keeping a vicious dog is a misdemeanor.
Noisy Dogs

A dog that barks loudly enough to be heard from any adjacent property for a period of 20 minutes or more is considered to be excessively noisy. Owners will receive a warning for a first offense and a summons for any subsequent offenses.
