June and July is a good time to cruise Alaska to enjoy the warmest temperatures. Average maximum temperatures around Anchorage range from 54 F in May to 65 F in July.

Daylight Hours

Alaska, the Land of the Midnight Sun, enjoys long days through April to September but the months with the highest number of daylight hours are June and July, when you can enjoy the view from the deck until around 11 p.m. It can get dark enough in September to see the Northern Lights in the interior of Alaska.
