Security Analysis Training

Security analysis has many applications, including data protection.

Security analysis training concerns several disciplines within the field of protective services, such as counterterrorism, threat analysis and tertiary procedures and contingency planning. Large corporations and government agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security often employ graduates of security analysis training programs.

Scope

Security analysis training programs instruct students in a broad array of protective concerns, such as the identification of potential domestic terrorism threats, strategic intelligence and protective services for humanitarian operations. Other areas of focus include computer network security, data protection and software and computer hacking protection.

Courses

The breadth of security analysis involves coursework in several disciplines of protection, such as asymmetric threats operations, strategic intelligence and counterterrorism analysis. Other security topics covered in courses include network security protection, computer firewalls and security audits, threats and attacks.

Cost

As of October 2010, security analysis training costs between $84 for individual training modules and as much as $1,750 for comprehensive programs.
