There are several home remedies for treating acne.

Acne is an eruptive skin condition mainly effecting pre-teens and teenagers, but it is also common in adults. There are different methods for treating acne including over the counter medications, prescription medications and natural home remedies.

  1. Lime Juice and Rosewater Mask

    • A mixture of lime juice and rosewater is a method used to treat acne. Mix equal parts of lime juice and rose water and apply after cleansing the face. Let sit for 30 minutes, cleanse the face again and pat dry.

    Honey and Cinnamon Mask

    • A facial mask made of honey and cinnamon powder is a time honored method for treating acne. Mix enough honey and cinnamon powder to create a paste. Apply to the face overnight. Upon waking, cleanse the face and pat dry.

    Yogurt and Oatmeal Mask

    • A facial mask made of yogurt and oatmeal is another method to treat acne. Mix natural yogurt with fine oatmeal to create a paste. Apply to the face and allow the mask to dry. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
