Spyware Destructor is a rogue anti-spyware program. In other words, it is a computer virus designed to look like a legitimate anti-spyware program for the purpose of tricking users into purchasing the "full version" of the program and thereby exposing the computer to threats.
Symptoms

Spyware Destructor floods a computer with fake system scans and pop-up warnings telling users that the computer is infected with spyware. In addition, Spyware Destructor slows the computer's performance and may change the Internet homepage set by the user.

Removal

Spyware Destructor can be removed by running an anti-malware program, such as Windows Defender. Alternatively, users can remove the virus by deleting the processes, registry values and files associated with the virus. Keep in mind that deleting registry values is a technical process that can result in significant system-wide errors if done incorrectly.
