AAA Tourism focuses on encouraging tourism in Australia and New Zealand.

AAA Tourism focuses on providing tourists with accommodations, car rentals and travel plans when visiting Australia and New Zealand. It represents the interests of the Australian tourism industry and is a member of the National Tourism Alliance.

Ratings

The Stars accommodation classification scheme, maintained by AAA Tourism, rates lodging facilities throughout Australia on more than 300 criteria points. Reassessment is done every 12 to 18 months. Accommodations can also receive Green Star Accreditation for having environmentally conscious facilities.

Publications

AAA Tourism publishes tourist guides for both Australia and New Zealand which are available in many Auto Club outlets, at its website and packaged with travel planners.

Online

The AAA Tourism website (www.aaatourism.com.au) offers visitors access to online booking for Australian and New Zealand hotels, as well as access to information about which tourist activities or destinations will be near an intended destination. For instance, in South Australia, it recommends the Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills and Eyre Peninsula among other attractions.
