Hair Treatment for Frizz

Frizzy hair is usually extremely dry and can be caused by the overuse of blow-dryers, styling products, flat and curling irons, and damage resulting from chemical processing. You can treat frizzy hair with several products and methods.

Deep Conditioning

Apply a deep-conditioning treatment to your hair one to two times weekly. Deep conditioners penetrate the hair shaft and help smooth and soften the hair, preventing it from becoming dry.

Leave-In Conditioners

Use a leave-in conditioner on a daily basis. Apply the conditioner to your hair before styling it and comb it through the hair from the roots to the hair ends. Leave-in conditioners can be creamy or liquid.

Hydrating & Moisturizing Shampoos

Wash your hair using hydrating or moisturizing shampoos. Hydrating shampoos contain lots of moisture and can replenish your hair during the shampooing process.

Anti-Frizz Products

Anti-frizz products such as anti-frizz serums make your hair smooth and shiny, preventing it from become frizzy and dry. Tame frizzy hair by applying an anti-frizz serum from the roots to the hair ends.
