Travel to Euro Disney

Euro Disney Park was renamed Disneyland Paris in 1995. Although the name changed, everything else remained the same. Disneyland Paris is located 30 kilometers to the east of Paris, in Marne-la-Vallee.

Identification

As of 2010, Disneyland Paris consists of two parks: Disneyland Park (which opened in 1992 as Euro Disney) and Walt Disney Studios Park (which opened in 2002.) In 2010, EuroDisney S.C.A., which owns and operates Disneyland Paris, received permission from the French government to build a third park.

Features

The main park--Disneyland Park--has five themed sections: Discoveryland, Fantasyland, Main Street U.S.A, Frontierland and Adventureland. The newer park--Walt Disney Studios Park--is split into four themed sections: Toon Studio, Backlot, Front Lot and Production Courtyard.

Accommodations

Accommodations at Disneyland Paris included seven hotels, as of 2010: Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hotel New York, Disney's Newport Bay Club, Disney's Sequoia Lodge, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, Disney's Hotel Santa Fe and Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch. There are also seven partner hotels near the resort.
