How to Compare Gas Rebate Cards

Gas rebate cards can provide you with money back on the unavoidable expense of fueling your vehicle. Many companies now offer gas rebate cards and you should compare several features before choosing one.

Percentage Back

Compare the percentage that you will receive back on your gas purchases. Many companies offer somewhere between one and three percent back. Some companies offer as much as five percent back on gas purchases made at select gas stations.

Convenience

Consider the level of convenience you'll have using a particular brand. You should sign up for cards that have gas stations near where you regularly drive. Rebates from your gas card are useless if you can't use it frequently.

Credit Limit

Find out the credit limit for each card. If you spend much money on gas, find a card with a larger credit limit. You can't access the rebate once you reach the card's maximum limit, at least not until you pay it off.
