Specs for Fujikura ZCom Six Shafts

The Fujikura ZCom Six graphite driver shaft was manufactured in Japan by Fujikura Golf. The shaft is an ultralite shaft that has been a proven winner on the PGA Tour. This shaft is not recommended for beginners, but instead for golfers with advanced skills.

  1. Flex

    • The Fujikura ZCOM Six shaft is available in three distinct flex, or stiffness, options. The shaft comes in Regular (R) flex, Stiff (S) flex and Extra Stiff (X) flex. Golfers with slower swing speeds will find the Regular flex the best fit, while players with faster swings will want to play the Stiff or Extra Stiff flexes.

    Weight

    • The Fujikura ZCom Six shaft is considered an ultralite shaft. The weight of the shaft is dependent upon the flex of the shaft. The Regular flex shaft weighs 52 grams, the Stiff flex shaft weighs 56 grams and the Extra Stiff flex shaft weighs 59 grams.

    Butt and Tip Measurements

    • The measurements of the Fujikura ZCom Six shaft are standard for the golf industry. The butt diameter is 0.595 inches, meaning that a standard-size core grip should be used. The tip diameter is 0.335 inches, meaning that the driver shaft can be used only in driver heads with a 0.335-inch hosel. Driver heads with a larger hosel diameter will need to be fitted with either a shim or an adapter in order to be fitted with a ZCom Six shaft.
