Choosing a treatment for a wound can be confusing, when there does not appear to be any difference between brands. If a wound is seeping and needs to be protected from the air, products such as Duoderm and Exuderm can both fit the bill.

      Exuderm is a different brand name for an almost identical medical dressing. It also provides a moist, germ free dressing to aid the recovery of a wound. Again, the dressings are derived from a fruit pectin and are hydrocolloid.
