Early Vintage Spice Cabinets
Spice racks provide a space to organize your spices, complete with labels that identify each one. Early vintage spice racks are typically made from wood and feature glass bottles. The style is suitable for a retro-style kitchen or a modern one. Does this Spark an idea?

Types
-
In addition to glass-and-wood spice racks, you'll also find early vintage racks with colored glass or plastic jars. These jars generally feature metal lids, and some even have a matching metal rack. The spice racks either hang on the wall or sit on the counter.
Considerations
-
Replace the old spices from the vintage rack with modern-day spices. Dried spices lose flavor over time, and there's a good chance that the spices inside have no flavor or a fairly dull and muted flavor.
-
Warning
-
Glass spice jars with a stopper around the lid become broken or damaged over time. If the stopper is broken or missing, the jars won't keep the spices fresh.
