Specs for a 2007 Jayco 1206 Pop-Up Camper

The Jayco company introduced the Jay Series pop-up campers in 2005. This series originally had six camping trailer models, including the 1206. As of October 2010, construction of the 1206 model continues at the Jayco manufacturing plant in Middlebury, Indiana.

  1. Weight

    • The total gross weight of this pop-up camper should not exceed 3,450 lbs. The camper weighs 2,380 lbs., which leaves approximately 1,070 lbs. for additional cargo. This would include the weight of the passengers, personal items, camping gear, tools, water, food and fuel.

    Dimensions

    • The length of the Jayco 1206 model is 18 feet 9 inches, which requires a minimum campsite length of 22 feet 10 inches. It features 13-inch tires and has a travel height of 56 inches.

    Interior

    • The Jayco 1206 model provides sleeping quarters for six to eight people with its queen-size bed, king-size bed and sofa. The kitchen area includes a carryout stove with a two-burner cooktop, a sink and a dinette table with a sitting area. It is also equipped with storage cabinets, a portable toilet and a water heater. In 2007, optional items included a 2.0-cubic-foot refrigerator and small furnace.
