Problems With PowerPoint 2007
Microsoft acknowledges several known issues with PowerPoint 2007 and fortunately all of the problems can be prevented. Errors include issues with opening PowerPoint files from earlier versions and saving files under PowerPoint 2007.
-
Slide Title Problems
-
PowerPoint 2007 presentations may not open properly in PowerPoint 93-2003 format, as the slide head-titles will not display. Prevent this issue by saving two copies of the presentation in 93-2003 and 2007 formats.
Saving Problems
-
PowerPoint 2007 presentations are not saved when a user selects the save function. Prevent any lost work by saving the presentation on a USB drive, CD, or any extremal memory system.
-
Focusing Issue
-
A focusing issue presents itself when a presentation slide misaligns the video and typed content into the center of the slide. This occurs when zooming in on a slide with a picture or media file. A solution is to run a program update for PowerPoint 2007; the most current version eliminates the issue.
