80's Clothes for Guys

1980s fashion for men is back and used in today's fashion trends. If that's not your style, use 80s clothes for men to create costumes for parties and holidays. It's sure to bring a good laugh.

Parachute Pants

Parachute pants were made famous by MC Hammer. Parachute pants were first made to be tight and very shiny. Later they became baggy and bright and were also called harem pants.

Acid-Wash Jeans

Acid-wash jeans were a popular style of 80s clothes for men and women. The jeans, mostly blue and black, were stripped of some of their color using chemicals. Acid-wash jean jackets were also popular.

Hightop Sneakers

In the 80s, everybody had a pair of hightops. Reeboks were the most popular brand, but there were others. These shoes came in many colors and designs. They laced up the front but also had velco straps at the very top.

Baja Sweaters

Baja sweaters had bright stripes, two huge ropes at the neck, and a center pocket. Many hoodies that are made today follow the Baja pattern. The difference is that Baja sweaters were bright, felt like a burlap bag, and were often connected to drug users, thanks to the movie "Fast Times at Ridgemont High."
