Directions for the Stampin Up Flower

Stampin Up is a paper crafting system. Using scallop circle punches from Stampin' Up, you can make a variety of floral designs. Flowers can be made small or large, simple or full.

  1. Tools and Materials

    • To make these flowers, you will need the Big Shot die cut machine. You will also need some scallop circle dies in the sizes you want, a punch for the center and some brads. A good material for the flowers is cardstock. You can use one color or contrasting shades.

    Types

    • Small circles can be used to make simple little flowers, or layered on top of larger circles to create more complex blossoms. Combining several layers of scalloped circles creates large, fluffy rosettes.

    Methods

    • To make a small flower, cut out a small scalloped circle and make folds in alternating directions between the petals. Complete the flower with a brad (a paper fastener). You can make a more complex flower using two or more different-sized circles. To make a large, fluffy flower, cut out five to eight circles and distress them. Place the circles one on top of the other and punch the centers as before. Complete with a large brad.
