Vornado is an American company based in Kansas whose products include air circulators, air purifiers, humidifiers and heaters. Vornado brand products are available at home furnishing stores, hardware stores and furniture stores.

Features

Vornado heaters have several features and settings. One feature allows you to run the heater at a high heat setting, on a low heat setting or on a fan-only setting. When the heater is on the fan-only setting, the LCD display reads "FA."

Function

Models of Vornado heaters, such as the DVTH, that have a fan-only setting serve a dual purpose. In colder months, they function as a space heater, while in the summer you can use the heater as a fan. The fan also works to circulate air throughout the room while the heater is running to avoid heating just one small area within the room.

Warning

The grill of the Vornado heater becomes hot while it is running so avoid touching it. The heater should never be left in a room unattended or used in a small space, such as a bathroom. Combustible objects or chemicals should be kept away from the heater.
