Facts About Suzuki 4 Wheelers

The Suzuki Motor Corporation manufactures three different main categories of 4-wheelers, or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), with many different models in each one. All are suitable for motocross, racing and even plowing snow.

Kids Quads

As of 2010, Suzuki produces two styles of 4-wheeler for kids: the Z90 and the Z50. The Z50 is designed for kids 6 years and up, and comes with a remote engine stop to allow adult supervisors to have control over a beginning rider's progress. The Z90 is for kids 12 years and older. It is slightly more powerful than the Z90 and has a screw-type throttle to allow adults to limit its maximum power.

Sport Quads

Suzuki's Sport Quads are intended for racing, motocross and other off-roading applications. As of 2010, there are five different models in the QuadSport line: grown-up versions of the Z50 and the Z90, as well as the Z250, the Z400 and the QuadRacer R450. Also as of 2010, the R450 is a three-time American Motorcyclist Association/All-Terrain Vehicle Association National Motocross champion ATV.

Sport-Utility Quads

There are also five varieties of Suzuki Sport Utility Quads as of 2010: the Ozark 250, and the KingQuads' 400ASI, 450AXI, 500AXI and 750AXI. They are intended for tough jobs ranging from plowing snow to farming to conquering the most forbidding trails.
