Start off by using the "Getting started" tutorial as a beginner, as this lays out the fundamentals for using Flash with sample exercises to complete (see Resources). Search for specific topics if you are having difficulty in a particular area like animation, video or graphics. Each tutorial gives step-by-step instructions plus exercises to practice.
