Meanwhile, a pair of non-asbestos organic cost $22.99 for a 2004 Subaru Forester and a semi-metallic pair cost $36.99 for the same vehicle. According to Consumer Report, a pair of standard brake pads for a Chevrolet Tahoe cost $68, as of 2009. A pair is sufficient for two wheels. Meanwhile, superior ceramic pads for the Tahoe cost $120 a pair.
