What Is the File Extension RBN 1?
The .rbn1 file extension is a computer file that is used for archiving data and statistics involved with the card game bridge. It is derived from the original extension .rbn.

Background
-
The RBN (Richard's Bridge Notation) file type was created by Richard Pavlicek to offer bridge players a means of archiving game data that would improve upon the PBN (Portable Bridge Notation) and LIN (Bridgebase) file types commonly used for the same purpose.
RBN
-
The file extension .rbn1 is a numbered archive using the RBN file type. As many games and separate statistics are kept, additional RBN files will add numbers to the original .rbn extension.
-
File Features
-
RBN files are small, which allows them to be easily converted to the other common bridge file types, PBN and LIN. The RBN format offers a bridge enthusiast the ability to use up to 16 labels to thoroughly archive any bridge situation.
