Television Repair Training
Television repair workers diagnose and fix a wide array of problems with TV sets, from broken bulbs to cracked screens to high-definition (HD) issues. Training for these types of workers comes in many forms.
-
Certification
-
Many community colleges offer courses and certification in television repair, and are excellent training grounds. Some schools, both online and otherwise, even specialize in the TV repair. Certification typically consists of classwork, hands-on training and testing.
On-the-Job
-
Aspiring television repair workers often receive their best training while at work, under the supervision of a more experienced worker or manager. However, to get hired as a television repair worker, you will first need to display at least a basic understanding of the field.
-
College
-
Most television repair workers are not required to possess a bachelor's--or even associate--degree. But colleges and universities can still be a strong resource for those wishing to learn about television repair, simply because all offer background needed for the field, such as those related to business, communications and even technology.
