  1. Fair Housing Act

    HUD

    • The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) assists moderate- or low-income families with disabilities to buy a home. HUD offers monthly payments to help disabled people make mortgage payments.

    Fannie Mae

    • Fannie Mae was first established in 1938 as a government agency and became a private company in 1968. The company offers programs for disabled people that assist in purchasing and making access modifications to a home.
