Hi my names is Jason, I work at Dish network, just wanted to add a little FYI to the article. DISH has been offering FREE HD for life sine June 2010, so once signed up for it, either through auto-pay with paperless billing or a one time fee of 99.00 the 10.00 a month HD package will always be free no matter what package you are on, saving you 120.00 a year.
