Height

A telephone table is usually taller than an end table. End tables tend to stand about 21 inches tall. Telephone tables may stand from about 23 inches (nearly 2 feet) tall to about 33.5 inches (nearly 3 feet) high.

Drawer

Telephone tables usually have at least one drawer. Some of the drawers are large enough to hold a telephone directory. They are also used to store items like pens and paper--for writing down phone messages--and keys.

Multipurpose

These tables can be used for more than housing a telephone. A telephone table can also be employed as a nightstand, as a table to stand in the entrance foyer of a home or as a corner table.
