Mystic, Connecticut, is a coastal New England city located midway between Boston and New York. Famous Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration and shopping at Olde Mistick Village make Mystic one of New England's top vacation spots.

Seaport Campground is in Old Mystic, close to the coast and has both tent and RV camping.

The Whaler's Inn has a central location and offers visitors a variety of rooms, four-star Bravo Bravo Restaurant & Lounge, complimentary bikes for touring the city, boat dockage and exercise facilities. Captain Grant's 1754 offers guests private bedrooms along with a private library of DVDs, complimentary fresh baked goods, wine, beer and soda and a three-tiered porch to relax and enjoy. Seaport Campground amenities include restrooms, hot showers, laundromat, dumping station, wood, outdoor swimming pool, volleyball court and playground.

Considerations

The Whaler's Inn offers online booking and requires a two-night minimum stay. Seaport Campground also accepts online reservations and is open May 1 through Oct. 15.
