A GPS receiver locks into these signals and calculates a latitude and longitude; which indicates exact locations. The GPS navigational system shows consumers precisely where they are.

Consumers purchase GPS navigational systems for travel reasons. A GPS system locates destinations and gives exact directions to the locations. They also are capable of locating gas stations, restaurants, and other businesses or addresses in whatever area is requested by the user. Any address is typed into the system, and the system then calculates how to get there.
