Jewelry Saw and Blades

A jewelry saw is used to cut sheet metal and other raw materials. Three screws hold the saw blades in the frame of most jewelry saws. Different-sized saw blades are needed for different gauge materials.
Files
-
Use files to smooth out the edges of metal and other materials cut with a jewelry saw.
-
Sandpaper
-
Different grits of sandpaper remove tool and fabrication marks and polish jewelry.
Drill and Drill Bits
-
Use a drill and drill bits to create holes in jewelry. Holes are needed to attach findings and to saw the interior space of metal.
Torch
-
Use a torch to anneal, fuse or solder metal.
Pickle and Pickle Pot
-
Use chemical pickle to remove oxidation formed on metal when it is heated with a torch to anneal, fuse or solder. House the pickle in a pickle pot to warm the chemical and hasten the removal of oxides.
