Emergency Situations

If you believe the missing person is in danger, or if you think a crime has been committed, call 9-1-1 immediately. The emergency dispatcher will contact the police, who will take down the information on the missing person and file a report.

You can also email the Orange County Sheriff's Department to report a missing person at missingpersons@ocfl.net. To maximize effectiveness, include as many details about the missing person as you can, such as: age, height, weight, hair color and other physical features; last place seen; close acquaintances; a list of people you have contacted while trying to find the person; and any other details. Include your own contact information.

You can file a missing person report in person at the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 2500 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando, or at your local police station. If possible, bring a recent photograph of the missing person.
