The Compatibility of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 With Vista

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is not compatible with Windows Vista.

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 was released in 2002 and is no longer supported by Adobe. Adobe Photoshop 7.0 was developed prior to Microsoft Windows Vista and therefore was not designed to be compatible with Windows Vista.

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Operating System Requirements
- Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is compatible with Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP.
  
  Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is not compatible with Windows Vista but is compatible with Microsoft Windows 98 Special Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP. If you are running a Windows platform that is newer than Windows XP, you will be required to replace Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with a newer version of the software.

- Adobe Photoshop CS3 is the first version of Photoshop that was compatible with Windows Vista.
  
  Windows Vista was released in 2007 by Microsoft. That same year, Adobe released Adobe Photoshop CS3, which was the first version of Photoshop that worked with Windows Vista. Since then, Adobe has released Adobe Photoshop CS4 and CS5, which are both compatible with Windows Vista.
A Way Around the Adobe Photoshop 7.0/Windows Vista compatibility issue
- The best solution is to replace Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with a newer version of Photoshop.
  
  Adobe quit supporting Adobe Photoshop 7.0; therefore, they did not create a fix to allow the program to run with Windows Vista. There is not a way to make Adobe Photoshop 7.0 work on a Windows Vista platform, which means your best solution is to replace Adobe Photoshop 7.0 with a newer version of the software.
