    • Above ground pools range in price from $800 to $4500. Although they are not as pleasing to the eye as an in ground pool, they offer lower prices and the ability to take them with you when you move. They can be round or oval, and come in a variety of sizes and depths.

Fiberglass is a durable material that gets stronger with age and does not require a pool liner. The designs are limited to what the manufacturers offer.

    Concrete and Gunite Pools

    • Concrete and Gunite pools average $25,000 installed for the basic pool and range upwards of $50,000 for elaborate designs. The advantage to these types of pools is the wide variety of sizes and styles available. They can even be designed with hot tubs and waterfalls as part of the structure. These pools are extremely durable and do not require a liner.
